My clients were riding in a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-465 when a vehicle operated by Defendant crashed into the back of a vehicle operated by the vehicle immediately behind my clients’ which vehicle was pushed into the rear of my clients’ vehicle. My clients, husband and wife, were severely injured in the crash and required lengthy treatment. This case involved a 3 vehicle chain reaction where Vehicle #1 rear-ended Vehicle #2 forcing Vehicle #2 into the rear of our clients’ vehicle. Vehicle #1 claimed Vehicle #2 rear-ended our clients prior to Vehicle #1 striking Vehicle #2 and that Vehicle #2’s collision with our clients cause their injuries. We were able to establish through deposition testimony the actual sequence of events resulting in an offer of insurance policy limits from Vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2.
